by Murdock, 5 years agoOld version would show up in the downloads window, which made perfect sense. Now, you have no idea the status of the download or if it even started unless you constantly go back up and click on the icon and check, or if you open the downloads in another tab, not sure why anyone would want to have to do this. The downloader still works great, but removing the download from the ACTUAL DOWNLOAD WINDOW that pops up with any other download was a very idiotic move.

posted 5 years agoFirefox 57 and later supports only WebExtension-based addons and force download via browser option is available only for scoring videos via menu in AVD popup.

Allerdings ist bei manchen Websites nicht ersichtlich ob es sich bei der Datei die man herunterladen möchte um Audio oder Video Material handelt. Oft lädt man eine Datei die dann keinen Ton hat, oder eine Datei die nur Ton ist, aber keinen Videoinhalt hat. Hier sollte noch nachgebessert werden.
