posted a year agoThank you for your review. Could you share more details about the connection issue? Are you able to consistently reproduce it? Which version of Firefox, as well as the Proton VPN extension do you have installed? What device are you experiencing this issue on exactly? Contact us by clicking on Help in the Proton VPN extension, then selecting 'Contact us' so we can help you troubleshoot.
On another note, some websites block known VPN IP addresses. Let us know which websites you're having trouble accessing, as well as the servers you're connected to in the process so we can help. Meanwhile, you can try switching between multiple different servers to see whether the behavior improves with some of them.
Lastly, we've documented your request regarding automatic reconnection to a faster server for future consideration.

However, once I removed it and installed it again, what I was missing was the confirmation button at the bottom of the first page that opens up, then on the next page it asks you to log in. Once logged in, THEN the extension icon worked correctly.
At least for a paid person. Not sure how that's supposed to work with the free version.Developer response

The extension keeps loading loading and loading. I tried to uninstall and reinstall it but it didn't work.
The Proton VPN in my MacOS works completely fine but I don't want to use that.Developer response

posted 21 days agoThat doesn't sound right. Could you clarify what exactly doesn't work? Are you having trouble installing the Proton VPN extension, or is there a different issue? Are you receiving any error messages? Contact us at https://protonvpn.com/support/contact with more details so we can help you troubleshoot. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19564633, 22 days agoProtonVPN by itself is not bad, in fact it is by far the best VPN service I have used till date. But this extension? It is more worthless than a boat on land.
The problem is that it never loads anything and just displays a window with a spinning circle on it, and the circle keeps spinning till I crash out and delete the extension.
Here's the process:
1. I pin this extension and then click on its icon
2. A small window appears and its loads... something.
3. It keeps loading.
4. It keeps loading.
Forever.
Yes, I reinstalled it multiple times.
Yes, I updated firefox.
I even rebooted once. Did not work at all. The ProtonVPN Linux CLI did though so its definitely not a network issue on my side.Developer response
