by Zaina, 4 days agoGreat extension! Works fine on Windows, however it originally didn't detect my client when I selected the "install for all users" option, when I uninstalled it and reinstalled it for just my current user, it worked fine. 🙂
The UI is a little bit lacking (for example it's not very obvious whether a download is frozen or progressing unless I check the file size itself), but I'm sure that'll improve with time.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15746352, 2 years agoI had high hopes for this, another downloader would mean not being so reliant on downloadhelper. Unfortunately I could NOT get it to recognise the client, in Firefox or the fork Floorp, I didn't try chromium as I'm trying not to use chromium based, MV3 and all that. Any useful info from dev on how to get this to actually connect to it's separate app would be gratefully received. Until then it's a one-star I'm afraid.
Developer response
posted a year agoThis should just be as simple as installing the native app, and installing the web extension. With both installed everything should work as expected.
I would be more than happy to help; however, I need to collect some technical details. Please open an issue on GitHub and I will assist:
