About this extension
Block entire websites
Add any domain to your block list. Visiting it lands on a calm FocusMode block page instead. One click in the toolbar popup blocks the site you're on.
Hide posts by type
Hide sponsored posts and ads, "suggested for you" content, short videos (Reels/Shorts), and reposts/shares — toggled per platform on Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, Reddit, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Hide posts by word
Write your own list of words. Any post whose text contains one of them (case-insensitive) is removed from your feed entirely — no placeholder, no trace.
Private by design
Everything is stored locally in your browser. FocusMode makes no external requests, collects no data, and has no accounts or analytics.
Some post types don't exist on some platforms (the toggle simply has no effect there). Post detection is best-effort and maintained as platforms change their markup — see the support site for the current support table.
