by MissChris, 3 years agoIt works just fine for converting US measurements to metric, but I need the opposite. Someone please work on that for us.

posted 5 years agoHi, sorry for the inconvenience. I have prepared version 2.3.0 with serveral changes and tested it on the website you have posted. Based on my test it should be working now. I will appreciate the feedback. Thank you - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13743103, 7 years agoIt's almost perfect. The only situation that I've found where it doesn't work is with negative numbers
(like here: old.reddit.com/r/todayilearned/comments/e7qiyw/ it should convert -144 F into -98°C, but it converts 144 F to 62°C, disregarding the minus sign)Developer response
posted 5 years agoHi, sorry you have been waiting so long. I have made several changes in new version of this addon. It should be working now properly in version 2.3.0 - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14379808, 7 years agoI love this extension except is useless to me. I would love it more if it also had metric to Imperial / United States customary units. Please ad that if its possible. Thank you for a quick response. Would really appreciate a metric to standard extension. Would do it myself if i knew anything about coding.

posted 7 years agoMaybe I will add another add-on, because I actually like "Click for metrics" name :D - Rated 5 out of 5by Vadim, 7 years agoThis is a must-have tool! Thanks.
I have two suggestions:
1) Recognise American length writing style: 5'2" for 5 feet 2 inces
2) When I looked for the addons I thought it'd do this on:hover. Maybe add this as an option and optionally highlight text/values that were converted by the addon (so the user knows what was affected). It can get confusing when there're many numbers on a page and you don't know what was and what wasn't converted/changed.Developer response
