Reopen Tabs by 阳熙来

Reopen Tabs makes it easier to recover accidentally closed pages: click the extension toolbar button to reopen the most recently closed tab in the current window. Right-click the button to choose a tab from the list, delete a closed-tab record, or reopen a group of tabs closed in succession.

🧩 The extension settings offer flexible menu and restoration options:

• Recently closed tab count: Set how many recently closed tabs appear in the context menu; from 1 to 25
• Group restoration: Choose whether to show the menu item for reopening the most recently consecutively closed group of tabs
• Grouping threshold: Set the interval used to identify consecutively closed tabs, from 0.1 to 99 seconds; adjacent records within the threshold are treated as one group
• Title truncation: Automatically shorten long tab titles and set the maximum displayed length

✨ Extension features:

• One-click restore: Click the toolbar button to immediately reopen the most recently closed tab in the current window
• Batch restore: Automatically find the most recent qualifying group of consecutively closed records in the current window and restore them in the order they were closed
• Window isolation: Only tabs closed in the current window are shown and restored; records from other browser windows are never mixed in
• Delete records: Right-click a record in the context menu to remove it from recently closed history
• Smart menu: When there are many records, the extras are automatically placed in a “More Recently Closed Tabs” submenu
• Clear identification: Menu items show tab titles and favicons; long titles can be truncated according to your settings
• Status feedback: You’ll be notified when no tab can be restored, no group is found, or an operation fails
