YT Ratio Insights is developed by RatioWorks.

YT Ratio Insights does not sell personal information, use advertising trackers, or operate its own analytics system.

When audience insight functionality is enabled, the extension sends the identifier of the YouTube video currently being viewed to the Return YouTube Dislike API in order to retrieve audience voting information. This request is necessary to provide estimated dislike, approval, and related audience statistics.

RatioWorks does not receive or store these API requests.

Video technical insights such as stream resolution, aspect ratio, displayed video size, scaling, buffer status, and dropped-frame information are calculated locally inside Firefox and are not transmitted to RatioWorks.

Extension preferences, interface settings, privacy choices, and optional removal feedback are stored locally using Firefox extension storage. Optional removal feedback stored by the extension is not automatically transmitted to RatioWorks.

YT Ratio Insights does not collect passwords, financial information, browsing history outside the functionality required for supported YouTube pages, precise location, health information, communications, or personally identifiable information.

The extension contains an optional PayPal donation link. Selecting the donation button opens PayPal in a separate browser tab. Any information provided to PayPal is governed by PayPal's own privacy practices and is not processed by YT Ratio Insights.

Audience statistics obtained from Return YouTube Dislike are estimates and are not official YouTube dislike statistics.

Users can disable applicable audience-data functionality using the privacy controls provided by the extension.
