I have used this add-on with no trouble for about a ear now. it works very well with the vast majority of embedded video sites and downloads the video into a private folder. Well worth the download.

This add-on does exactly what it says it does. Seamlessly integrating video and animated gif downloads with firefox. There are a few that don't work, like those from facebook. But there are workarounds.
