Privacy Policy — Talent Sync

Talent Sync ("the extension") is a productivity tool built for recruiters. It lets a user import the LinkedIn profile they are viewing into their Bigin (Zoho) CRM. This policy explains how data is handled.

Summary
The extension is a direct bridge between LinkedIn and your Bigin CRM. It does not run analytics, telemetry, or tracking, and it does not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party. Credentials and settings never leave your local browser.

What the extension accesses
- LinkedIn profile data you view: When you open the panel on a profile page, the extension reads the candidate details displayed (name, title, company, location, experience) to pre-fill the import form.
- CRM credentials you provide: The Client ID, Client Secret, and Refresh Token entered in Settings are used solely to authenticate with Zoho's Bigin API.

Where data goes
- Zoho Bigin API (zohoapis.ca, accounts.zohocloud.ca): Candidate records are sent to your Bigin CRM only when you explicitly click "Save to Bigin" or look up existing contacts.
- Google Drive via Apps Script: If you choose to upload a résumé PDF, the file is uploaded to your designated Google Drive folder.
- No Third Parties: No data is sent to advertising networks, analytics platforms, or external servers.

Storage and Security
- All credentials and extension configuration are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local).
- Temporary profile scrape data is held in memory (chrome.storage.session) and cleared automatically when you close the browser.

Data Control
Users can delete all stored settings and credentials at any time by clearing the extension settings or uninstalling the extension. Candidate data stored in Bigin is governed by your Zoho CRM policies.
