About this extension
On any recipe page, Recipe Screener shows the blog's own recipe card — the one the site designed, in its own type and colors — with the ad slots, share rows and newsletter pitches stripped out of it. It opens on its own; there is nothing to click.
One tap switches to a parsed version that puts the ingredients first and adds what a copied card cannot do: scale a recipe ½× to 3×, switch to metric, tick ingredients off as you go, and cook from one step at a time in large type with the screen kept awake. Recipes you save are kept on your device, so they still open after the blog reformats, paywalls or deletes the page.
No account, no tracking, and no network requests of its own. There is a tip jar in the card header if you enjoy the extension and wish to support it.
