Quietly Capture stores nothing on our servers and has no account system.

Screenshots are captured and stitched entirely on your device. Image data is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Your capture history, theme and language preferences are stored locally in your browser and never leave it.

We collect no analytics and no telemetry of any kind.

The optional AI assistant, Quiet Guide, does nothing unless you supply an API key for a provider you choose. When you use it, a screenshot of the current page and your question are sent from your browser directly to that provider so it can answer. Those requests are never proxied through any server we operate, and we never receive your key or your content. Deleting the key stops this entirely.

The full list of every domain the extension can reach, with a reason for each, ships inside the package as network-disclosure.json and is generated from the code rather than written by hand.
