About this extension
100% local full-page screenshots. No cloud upload. All core features free; the watermark tool is a paid Supporter feature.
Capture a full page as one image, crop it, draw or add text, blur private areas, then export to PNG or PDF — entirely on your device, no upload, no account required. One optional feature (a watermark) costs credits; everything else stays free.
OpenCapture stitches an entire page into a single image, however long it is, with no visible seams between the captured bands. From there, the built-in editor lets you crop to what matters, draw, add text and shapes, and blur or redact anything private, with unlimited undo before you export to PNG or PDF.
Every capture and edit happens locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no account is required for any of that.
The one paid feature is a tiled logo or text watermark across your exports, with adjustable opacity, position, and angle. It costs 1000 credits, paid once through your account, and never expires — no subscription.
OpenCapture is open source (AGPL-3.0-or-later) and works on Firefox, Chrome and Edge.
