Your settings (server address and story counts) are stored locally in your browser's extension storage and are never transmitted anywhere.
The extension makes network requests to exactly one place: the Newsroom server address you configure, to fetch the digest and optionally start a pipeline run. No analytics, telemetry, tracking, or third-party services are used, and no data is sent to the developer.
