League Read Browser Extension Privacy Policy

The League Read Browser Extension connects a browser to the user’s League Read
account and helps the user discover and connect ESPN fantasy-football leagues.

The extension stores a revocable League Read access token, League Read account
identifier and display name, browser-connection identifier, extension version,
and connection date in extension-local storage.

After the user grants permission, the extension can access the SWID and espn_s2
authentication cookies for the signed-in ESPN session. It never accesses the
user’s ESPN password and does not save ESPN cookies in extension-local storage.
It may check locally whether the cookies exist to display ESPN connection
status.

When requested, the extension uses the signed-in ESPN session to retrieve
fantasy-football league names, identifiers, seasons, and team names. This list
is shown on the League Read setup page so the user can select a league.

Only after the user explicitly selects and connects a private ESPN league does
the extension send the SWID and espn_s2 values directly to the configured
League Read server over HTTPS. The League Read webpage does not receive or
display these values. League Read encrypts the ESPN credential at rest and uses
it only to import and synchronize the selected league.

League Read does not sell this information, use it for advertising, or provide
it to advertisers or data brokers. Information may be processed by hosting and
security providers as necessary to operate League Read or disclosed when
required by law.

The user can revoke the browser connection, disconnect the saved ESPN
credential, remove the imported league data, clear extension storage, or
uninstall the extension. Disconnecting revokes the extension token. Encrypted
ESPN credentials are retained until the provider connection, league, or
associated account data is removed, subject to ordinary backup retention.
