Privacy policy for Color Picker & Eyedropper: Contrast Checker
Color Picker & Eyedropper: Contrast Checker by Tech Internal
ImgColorPicker collects nothing.
The extension makes no network requests. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no
advertising and no account. Nothing you pick, and nothing from the pages you
use it on, is ever sent anywhere.
Four items are stored inside your own browser:
- history — colors you have picked recently
- latest — your most recent pick
- report — the most recent page-contrast report
- settings — four preferences (default format, auto-copy, palette size,
automatic background detection)
The first three stay on your device. "settings" uses Firefox's own sync
storage, so with sync enabled your preferences follow your profile; it holds
no colors, no page content and nothing identifying you.
The extension reads a page only when you invoke it, using the activeTab
permission rather than access to all websites. Permission to save files is
optional and requested only when you export a palette.
Removing the add-on deletes all four items.
