The FOEhelp browser extension is designed exclusively for Forge of Empires
players and operates only on pages of this game.


The extension does not collect or transmit any personal user data by
default. All core features (city planning, calculators, statistics, guild
raid ranking display) run entirely locally in your browser.

Local storage (browser.storage.local):
- Extension settings (which buttons/panels are shown, enabled features)
- Telegram bot token and Discord webhook URL — stored only on your device,
entered by you, and used solely to send messages to your own Telegram
bot or Discord server


The extension requests access to forgeofempires.com pages exclusively to:
- Add buttons and panels to the FoE Helper interface
- Read in-game data that the game itself already loads (guild rankings,
production/building statistics) in order to display it in extension
windows
- Inject modal windows for planners, calculators, and statistics

The extension does not read private account credentials, payment data, or
any information outside of Forge of Empires in-game data.


This only happens if you explicitly enable and configure the relevant
optional feature — nothing is sent anywhere by default.

• Telegram / Discord (optional — personal communications data
  category): if you configure chat/notification forwarding with your own
  bot token or webhook URL, the extension sends the relevant in-game
  messages only to your own Telegram bot or Discord server, at the
  address you provided. We do not have access to this data ourselves.

• activeTab / scripting — to add the extension's interface to the game
  page only after you click a button
• storage — to store your settings locally on your device
• tabs — to identify the current game world from the active tab's URL
• downloads — to save exported CSV/JSON files to your computer, when you
  explicitly click an export button
• clipboardWrite — to copy data to your clipboard via the "Copy" button

In accordance with Firefox's built-in data collection consent framework,
this extension declares:
- Required data collection: none
- Optional data collection: website content and personal communications (chat forwarding to your own
Telegram/Discord), both fully opt-in and configured by you
